It was like watching the Bears, but did it become was it so bad it became fun at any point? It was fun because you don't know what was gonna happen Yeah, you didn't know how the ball was gonna get turned over next what the Bears were gonna do in offense to squander great field position Yep, it was a great pass at the end of the game Yes, like he threw the pass when it counted so Justin Fields has to be happy about that

looking at Justin Fields passing charts after the game. And it was just green dots directly to the side. Nothing across the middle whatsoever. Um, they say that they're, you know, they have confidence in them as a quarterback. You should let him throw the ball to the middle field. Yes. Once in a while. Yes. And some of it is not just in fields because there are times

where it feels like he maybe holds on to the ball too long and we've talked at length about his dropbacks being a little slower than everyone else's. But overall, and this is, so I've struggled with this because, and you, you correctly called me out last week about being in the same spot again this year where it's like, Oh, losses are good. We're in Groundhog's day. I'm actually happy they won. I know that you're happy they won. I am. Hey, you're happy they won. I'm happy they won because the bears might finally be done like in the total tank off and start actually playing some decent football. They're foreign foreign. their last eight. Their defense looks awesome. Montess sweat for the people who laughed at that trade. I think it's just, it was just general like knee jerk reaction because the chase clay pool thing. The defense is flying around playing great. The offense has dudes. DJ Moore is awesome. Colcomat is good. I don't, we can talk about Justin Fields and what that means. But for the first time in a very long time, I am optimistic about the Chicago Bears and where they're headed because I think you can build off of what they've done defensively. And Ryan Poles brought in like, Drain Edmonds and a TJ Edwards and all these guys that are playing well and you know a really good draft pick with Darnell right.

I don't know what's going to happen with Eber Fluss. I think he should still be fired, but I am for the first time in a long time like, hey the Bears actually have, we're no longer just like a million pieces away. We're a few pieces away from being a good football team. Yeah, the defense is quarterback might be one of the big. The defense is really, really good. I think that that's not a fluke and if you watch the camera on Ryan Poles throughout the game

There's no way for him to know when the camera's on them. There should be somebody should let him know when they're focusing on him on the main broadcast because he was like just shaking his head like I can't believe this shit but then after the game they won and he looked like the happiest person on earth. Yes, they kind of unleashed it at the end, just enough to make it count.

I agree that sweat is an impact maker on defense. I told you it was better than chase young. No, you were not one of those people. It was more the, I get it. And when you root for a bad franchise, you become the butt of a lot of jokes. People are like, why would they do this? Why not just sign them in free agencies? like well, you don't know if he's gonna sign in for agency. You don't know what the price is gonna be.
