Hello, welcome to episode number 620, and today is a different show.

It's what I call a bonus episode.

It is a bonus episode that we bring to you that is kind of out of the norm.

And this is specifically out of the norm.

A couple things will be different.

One is there's not going to be any ad spots in this because this is just a special episode.

So I decided not to put any ad spots in it, nor will

there be a mud meets the bat round because we just started a conversation. We walked it all the way

through to its end. And so that's what today's going to be like. And I thought that this conversation

was, was important to have. And this artist that I'm having on,

I felt was an important person to have on the show. Now, the reason that I thought this person

was important to have on the show is not because he is a ceramic artist. Let me tell you who it is.

It's Mako Fujimura. Now, you probably already know of him because he is, well, good night. He's world

famous. He's an artist. He does what is called slow art, what he calls slow art. And I'm going to let him explain that part of it to you.

But he's also an author.

He's written a couple of books, and he's got a new one coming out that is around the

corner.

But also, he does something that is quite interesting.
