watching on TV but I thought we slightly slightly struggled to make the breakthrough in

the first half and it was kind of a relief when that breakthrough came at the end of

the first half and then in the second half, particularly in the latter stages of the second half, we were electric and very good value for the 3-1 win.

I thought all round it was a pretty superb performance from United

from the vantage point I had in the Stratford End.

Uh-huh. Well I thought United simply just controlled the game throughout the first half

so it was over 70% possession a really high retention of the ball, credit a load of chances

that struggled to make that breakthrough until Herrera's goal of course and then in the

second half just went a little bit flat for a while and didn't seem to create as many chances

and we just weren't quite as z you with possession but I suppose you got

better on Steve Maria came on he suddenly started creating chances for United

didn't he and in the end a sort of fine and buoyant ending and I'm sure that's what everyone left with at the end.

Fine victory for United though very close to being a bit of an nervy end, wasn't it?

Yeah it was that classic thing of all the whole time it was 1-0 I was thinking we really need a second

here because as you say 70% possession in the first half even more in the second half

taking the kind of overall total to like 71 or 72 or something but just kind of completely demolished Villa but yeah at 1-0 I was like we

definitely need the second goal here and it was proved very apt when mere moments after scoring that second goal they got one back and then spent the whole

rest of it going we really need a third one here and then we got it. It was just lovely.
