All right, friends, before we read Luke chapter 6 verses 46 to 49, I invite you to pray with me.

Our God, we want to understand your word the way you intend it to be understood.

Don't allow me to misconstrue it or to say things it doesn't say but help me lord to be faithful

as i instruct your people today we ask in jesus name amen okay friends luke 6 46 through 49 jesus is teaching

the people and the people are starting to really think highly of Jesus and think he might be

the new Messiah. And so in speaking to them today, Jesus says, why do you call me Lord, Lord,

and do not do what I tell you? Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them,

I will show you what he's like.

He's like a man building a house who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock.

And when the flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it,
