Let me cover chapter 1 to get you caught up for chapter 2. Daniel chapter 1, the year is 605 BC.

That is before Christ. There is a nation called Babylon. It is ruled by a godless man named

Nebuchadnezzar. It's a counterfeit of God's kingdom and he is the counterfeit Jesus.

Well, after 490 years of disobedience on behalf of God's people, God is very patient.

young men who had high IQ, high EQ, raised in royal families. Their names include Daniel

after whom the book is titled. They are chosen to serve in the King's royal palace.
