What does that mean?

I'm going to take you a little bit back to how things started with

Hungry Jen. And then if you are first time visiting Hungry Jen, you are welcome. You get a chance to

sit in and see a little bit about where we've been, where we are, and where we are going. If you

are watching us for the first time, you also welcome for that.

In May 8th, 2003, which was 2003 long time ago, about 19 years ago, we purchased this building that we call now Hungry Jen home.

Pastor Don Strong from Faith Assembly helped us to secure the deal for this.

Our church was just a few families.

And our pastor had a vision that we will be reaching the community.

We did not speak any English, but that didn't stop us from applying to get a building.

We didn't have any paperwork.

We were not registered as a church.

We didn't have any savings as a church.

Pastor had a big vision, had a big faith.

He was proclaiming it for about a few years.

We were graced by a rent from Richland, Westside Baptist Church.

We used it for free for a year.

And then Dezo Streams Church gave us Thursday youth services place to use.
