I don't think you have to do things for money anymore. Correct. What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius. And the Lakers split a pair of games this weekend. On Friday night, they dropped a game against the Celtics that had me drinking by the second quarter. I thought it was a bit of a scheduled loss when I looked at the schedule at the beginning of the year, and it certainly turned out

that way, no Luca, no LeBron. But on Sunday, the Lakers close out a three-game and four-night

road trip, very strange for an East Coast swing, with a really gutsy win against the Philadelphia

76ers. It was a game where pretty much everybody

returned for both teams. Lakers got Luca back. Congratulations on the birth of his second daughter.

And LeBron played in that game as well. But Philly also got Embed and Paul George back,

although I'm not sure to what effect that actually helped them. But Dee, I thought it was a very hard-fought game throughout. Philly pushed ahead early on. They really beat our starters in that first shift, but Lakers chipped away, and they ended up taking the lead in the second quarter. But then Philly once again made a push at the end of the second, and I think they had a seven-point lead at halftime. Lakers are apparently a good third quarter team now. That's a nice development and make a push to start the third and end up getting the lead back and go back and forth for a bit. But the start of that half, LeBron gets a couple of post-ups right in the middle of the floor and knocks down a couple of fadeaways, sort of a harbinger to come. Bronn ends up with 12 points in the fourth quarter,

goes eight of nine from the field in the second half with 29 points and just a classic

bronze stat line, 29, 7 and 6, I think is what he ended up with on 12 of 17 from the field.

Looked great. His first game after his historic streak is snapped, comes right back with a 29-point

game, his best of the season. I would love to talk about LeBron. It was my favorite defensive

performance or right up there this season. I love to talk about that as well. But got to start

with the King, man. What did you see? So great to have LeBron back in general. I thought that they missed him against the Celtics.

I know that the Celtics game went the way that it went.
