hitting pause on a youth felony diversion program. It's supposed to keep youth out of jail,

keep them from recommitting, and help them get to the root of why they offended. But four

years into the program, it's not working as planned. What's next? We'll talk with KUOW's law

It is Seafar Fleet Week. Seattle's week of maritime celebration starts with the parade of ships through Elliott Bay tomorrow, and all week long the public can meet the sailors and take ship tours.

This all leads up to the Weekends Festival,

which includes the Blue Angels Air Show, the hydroplane races, and the log boom.

But as we all know, the Blue Angels will be practicing above the city all week, noise and all.

If you want to plant a couple trees where you live for free, this is your last week to

apply for the year.

The application deadline for the annual Trees for Neighborhoods Program is this Thursday.

You pick up to three trees you want, and if they're still available, you'll get them

delivered, plus a watering bag and mulch, and ongoing tips on proper tree care.

And this week may also be the last chance to buy Canadian goods without added tariffs.
