Since 1066, kings and queens have been crowned at Westminster Abbey in central London,

and today, King Charles' coronation was the 40th of its kind.

The service began with a poignant moment when King Charles was greeted by a 14-year-old chorister.

While the two-hour-long service contained many traditional elements, this coronation broke new ground.

It is pouring with rain, so they were umbrellas up as the King and Queen Consort arrived here,

followed by members of the royal family, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and Prince George,
