The boy is Spencer. Welcome Greenwich Connecticut. I wanted to open with a reading this is actually the beginning of the reading of tradition five in the book How Al-Anon works.

The tradition says each Al-Anon family group has but one purpose to help families of alcoholics.

We do this by practicing the 12 steps of AA ourselves by encouraging and

understanding our alcoholic relatives and by welcoming and giving comfort to

families of alcoholics. And the first paragraph of the discussion says,

the essence of all healing is love,

and the fifth tradition demonstrates the loving nature of the Al-Anon program.
