8th, Kind World returns for a new season,

starting with a special series, Lifelines,

Stories of Compassion at the Southern Border.

We take you from Texas into Mexico,

where hundreds of displaced people are struggling to survive

after fleeing their countries and leaving everything behind.

And I can't leave anymore there because I ask her then kill me or do something for my family.

I can't stay there.

They threatened me and I had to leave my children. That's what hurts me the most, being away

from my sons. We talked to dedicated volunteers making a difference in the lives of

men, women, and children in search of safety and security.

By the time they get here, they don't have a penny in your pocket.

And so if we don't provide the meal, they would go hungry.

I just can't turn my back on them and I don't think we should. I threw my heart into this.

Every penny I had I maxed out every credit card and it made me a person that I didn't know existed.
