I texted him while he was on the air.

And I wrote to him, it is one of the great warped pleasures of my life, my old age, to text

people when they are on TV.

I do it to Chuck Todd, to Steve Sands, to Carl Bernstein, to Ron Darling, to Michelle

Tafoya, and now you.

It's an eclectic list, and then I wrote, I can't stand Joelle M. B., to say hi to Dara's

for me, Tony.

And he writes back within 30 seconds.

Do you not like M. B., the person or the player?

And then he says, Dara says, and I quote, go to hell.

This was so funny.

Can I say that the Dara's Burke appearance resulted in me getting three or four texts from

friends of mine saying how much they liked it, how much they enjoyed hearing from her,

and how they hoped that she might be on again.

And I don't usually get that.

That was very nice.
