Chinese AI company Moonshot AI has released Kimmy K3, a 2.8 trillion parameter AI model that it says

rivals Claude Opus 4.8 and GPT 5.5 and plans to release its full model weights by July 27. Kimmy

K3 has taken the number one spot on the front endend code arena benchmark, surpassing Claude Fable 5,

and scoring 88.3 on Terminal Bench 2.1, which trails only GPT 5.6 Sol's score of 88.8.
