I want to jump in here because one of the things that you have been doing a great job at, as you always do, in your editorials in the Wall Street Journal, is going behind the headline and digging into what's actually happening in some of the sort of waterfall of Trump News that we're getting every day. So thank you for being here today.

We've obviously talked many times, but it's great to have you here because one of the things that we

try to do at the untold story is dig into what is going on behind the scenes.

So let's start with the piece that you wrote on the massive developments that we're seeing

at the Department of Education because we've lived through many presidential cycles where

we have heard Republicans and conservatives talk about expanding school choice, talk about

decentralizing federal education programs,

and pushing them back to the local level where the belief on the part of those who have pushed this

is that that will mean our kids will be better educated and that they'll be better prepared to compete in the world

and to keep us on the cutting edge.

And that really hasn't been the focus from the federal government in quite some time, Kim.
