My name is Scott Miller and I am honored and privileged each week to serve as your host

and interviewer.

As you know, we have recently launched the new book called Master Mentors, 30 transformative

insights from our greatest minds, which is a fast, easy, breezy read where I took 30

of my favorite interviews from our first year and wrote a different chapter about 30

of our guests, something that I thought they said did research, shared that was especially

profound, transformative even, and I wrote a chapter about it.

And of the 30 transformative insights, two of them are actually direct transcripts from

their interviews.

One, of course, from Trent Shelton, the former NFL football player, author, speaker, inspire,

coach, and social media influence.

I literally took his transcript and put it into the book because it was so valuable in

his own words, word for word.

And the other interview that I also took literally word for word was from today's guest,

Kim Scott, based on her book Radical Candor because her discussion of her inspiring learning,

the intervention that happened at Google with Sheryl Sandberg was so illuminating.

And I also took that and put it in word for word, Kim Scott is today's guest and one

of the featured mentors in my book Master Mentors.
