The first question is, do you think Jimmy Kimmel will be back on ABC?

I don't think so.

The firing of Jimmy Kimmel, and that's what it is, was the most outlandish act of political cowardice, corporate cowardice thus far.

Is free speech more under attack in Britain or America?

Well, Jimmy Kimmel was fired because he had bad ratings more than anything else,

and he said a horrible thing about a great gentleman known as Charlie Kirk,

and Jimmy Kimmel is not a talented

person. He had very bad ratings and they should have fired him a long time ago. So, you know,

you can call that free speech or not. He was fired for lack of talent. We don't know all of the details

yet. Who did what at ABC? Ultimately, what was the decision that Bob Beiger made? How did he make that decision?

But it was a decision that built on the earlier ABC capitulation to Donald Trump, the payout

because of things that were said by George Stephanophilus that were absurd to settle over.

Yet they did.

And what it purchased them is what appeasement always purchases, which is more aggression.

And so what we are seeing is demands from conservative broadcasters that Jimmy Kimmel has to pay tribute to Charlie Kirk's family in order to get back on the air.

According to the New York Times, late Wednesday, I'm just quoting here, Sinclair, another owner of many local TV stations, said that it would also suspend Mr. Kimball's program

and call him Mr. Kimmel to apologize and make a meaningful personal donation to Mr. Kirk's family and the activist's political group, Turning Point USA.

Do you think that's an appropriate remedy of the situation?

I think Sinclair has every right to call for that.

Again, you know, Sinclair affiliates with Disney.
