I have a very special guest. Her name is Karen Conti. Last name is spelled C-O-N-T-I, and she just published a book. March 2024. Full title is,

Killing Time with John Wayne Gacy, defending America's Most Evil Serial Killer on Death Row.

And it's a great book.

It has great book blurbs by a lot of people.

I've come across Gary Bruchado, was one of them, who I saw in a kind of a public thing about Hewerman, that I talked to some of the Heorman lawyers as well.

Also Robert Shapiro, Catherine Ramsland, Helen Brajean, Scott Trow, a lot of names have come

across in the past. But Karen Conte is one of Chicago's most prominent lawyers and legal

analysts. She's a speaker, writer, and media personality

with the over 30 years of experience in national and local radio and television. She's produced

and hosted awarding radio shows. One is a talk show legally speaking, which won several

achievement in radio awards, including Best Public Affairs Show and Best

Afternoon Drive Time. And she's currently the host of the Karen Conti show on Chicago's 50,000

watt station, WGN, where she covers current events, social issues, as well as the law. And for 25 years,

she's served as the designated legal analyst on the local Fox affiliate,

where she not only appears on air to give legal commentary, but pitches show topics and writes

the interview text. She's appeared regularly on national media programs such as MSNBC, CNN News,

Fox News, the Today Show, Good Morning America, Nancy Grace, the O'Reilly Factor, Court TV, Montel Williams Show, and the Lease-A-Kibbon Show. So she's covered a lot of things. She's also, I served as a law professor for over 25 years at DePaul University and the University of Illinois Law School. I think that's where she graduated from as a lawyer. But again, we're going to talk about this great book. I really enjoyed reading it a lot of facets to the book

and her first person interacted actions with this notorious serial killer, John Wayne Casey.
