Hi guys, Nancy Grace here. Welcome back to Killers Amongst Us, a production of I Heart

Media and Crime Online. We were talking about the disappearance of a beautiful young woman,

Dawn Vans. With her world in front of her, they had just started sheen her husband, David,

a hot new restaurant. It was the place to be. There's one in every town that that's the place

everybody seems to want to go. Of course, the first place you start with the any missing person

investigation is talking to the spouse. We now know that the husband is saying she took off for rehab,

but then he also said he expected her to come back after ski season and you see Dawn Vans

husband, daughter and his what new girlfriend throwing her stuff away. Well, of course,

it aroused suspicion when her clothing and some of her possessions were thrown in a dumpster.

Investigators start this electronic surveillance on David Vans, Dawn's husband, including GPS

trackers, wiretaps, they even go undercover into the restaurant to eat to get a sense of what's

going on. But then they fly out to see his daughter Jackie. She had moved back to South Carolina.

David Vans own blood daughter stating, oh yeah, that that pixie text daddy told me to do that.

The cops know something is horribly wrong. I mean it's he graced thanks for being with us.
