As a child, I used to spend time in the summer with my godparents at the beach.

I used to love to run down to the beach when it was still quiet

and sink my toes in the warm sand.

My favorite spot could be seen from the cottage window,

and on rainy days I would sit there and look out at the beach

and wait for the sun to come out.
