But every Wednesday morning we begin the show,

it's called Sonic branding.

That sound means it's Wednesday morning and we have a Friday morning. We have a Monday morning. We have a Tuesday morning or Thursday morning.

And we start that because Captain Kangaroo was very important to me as a child.

In that song, the way smells have the olfactory sense tells your brain, that'sma's cornbread or that's Papal's barbecue or

gumbo for my good Louisiana Kunas beloved brothers, you know you smell that rue and you can

hear Justin Wilson talking about it on this show you can hear better yet you can hear

can hear Pop-all Boudreau talking about it.

Oh, the smells they take you back.

Captain Kangaroo takes me back.

The show ran for 29 years from 1955 to 1984, making

it the longest-running nationally broadcast children's television program of its day.
