Summary

KCamp was a favorite among Florida State Seminole fans due to his creative graphic designs for FSU recruits long before he was officially hired by the university. Over the past few years, he was able to live out a career dream by working for FSU football's creative department. After experiencing life under two different head coaches in Tallahassee -- Willie Taggart and Mike Norvell -- KCamp stepped away from his position within the program during the middle of the 2021 football season. Today, KCamp sits down with On The Bench to share his favorite memories from working at FSU, why he decided to part ways with the program, and where he thinks the football team is headed under coach Norvell. it all guy for Florida State. And today we're going to get his perspective on the FSU program and

0:50.8

kind of where things are headed and moving forward. So first off Clayton, how are you and are

1:09.2

and share some opinions and I think it should be fun. For sure, let it loose. So I guess first off

1:16.8

just kind of getting to your background. Obviously, you're super talented, you know, creative dude,

1:22.9

and nowadays, but just was this something that you always saw in yourself kind of from a young

1:28.4

age and how did you first get into graphic design? So my parents have always owned apparel

1:34.8

stores growing up. So was into art that way. Signed a t-shirts and things like that from a young

1:43.2

age. I'd say I lived in Evansville, Indiana, and I talked about 10 and then I moved to Florida.

1:53.2

So, you know, during that time, I probably got a little bit more of my parents took regular jobs.

2:00.4

I got a little more away from the art stuff and just was a kid for, you know, didn't think of

2:07.2

anything. Probably until I graduated high school, I didn't even put my mind to anything, which

2:12.4

was crazy. But basically still enjoyed art, but never tried it. It wasn't like these kids nowadays

2:21.7

that are grinding and photoshopping in high school with freshmen and stuff like that. But graduated

2:27.5

high school didn't have like a dying desire to go to college. I just not that type of student

2:35.8

unfortunately. So, ended up opening a business with my parents there in Loots and wanting to

2:43.7

business with them on the third of that. And that's really where I got on Twitter and I was like,
