Way before I started doing this podcast, I drew comics, I wrote comics, I published comics, I even printed comics. Yes, I've worn all the hats. And in all

honesty, I still do. I'm still writing and drawing and producing comic books. And that's where so much of

this podcast gets its perspective. The fan in me started consuming comic books when I was seven years old,

pulling them off the spinner racks at liquor stores, 7-Elevens, you know, food markets.

Anywhere I could find comics, I was consumed by them.

And I saved my lunch money. Yes, yes, I would buy, I would buy,

I would buy one less chocolate milk or one less donut and, and turn that into a comic book,

because back then when I started comic books were 20 cents because, yes, I'm probably a lot
