studios in Central London I'm Julian Marshall.

And we begin today in Ukraine, we're an attack on the country's second city, Harkiv in the northeast,

which is reported to have killed at least five civilians has prompted President Selensky to again appeal

to Western arms donors to allow their equipment to be used for retaliation deep inside Russia.

It comes at the end of a week in which Ukraine says Russia has launched more than 400 missile

and drone strikes.

The victims in Harkey include a young girl in a playground and several people in apartment blocks.

Video from the scene shows the upper floors of two buildings ablaze and help being given to two bloodied men, an elderly

woman and a child. A Valorimetimoshko is the head of Haki police.

These were civilian sites.

The park at Urea Boulevard was directly hit, children were there.

A children's playground was hit, a child died, and according to her early information it was a girl of

13 to 14 years old.

And I spoke earlier to Maria Mezensova, Member of Parliament, for Harkiv.

She's currently attending a security conference in Prague.

What details does she have of the attack on her city?

A man go wounded and dad, we have also children unfortunately they're dreadful and very

scary footages and videos which are coming from the spot with people having

known legs and arms. Russia yet to get targeted,

specifically a residential area. Four peaceful neighborhood districts which have nothing to do with military or

soldiers or weaponry production. So this is a mass war crime, our prosecutor on the ground registered it as a mass war crime.
