This week I'm on my NFL training camp trip out west.

I'm recording this in Seattle.

And I'll give you two conversations from my trip so far.

From Oakland, reigning NFL defensive player of the year,

Khalil Mac, and for my trip to Denver,

a talk with rookie head coach Vance Joseph.

I ask Mac, why do you seem so unsatisfied with where you are as a player

after three years?

And that's the goal, man. You always want to set goals for yourself to get better and

strive. And when you fulfill fulfill them then you can kind of

lay back and be like I did that but at the same time it's a mindset of okay I could

do better than that. Also this week I ask Vance Joseph how big a difference is it

going from a defensive coordinator and quite frankly a position coach to

being a head coach. You know, in Miami, I can go out with the family and the wife and have a dinner and you know no one noticed.

From time to time someone would notice, but here in Denver, the Broncos are so huge that when I'm out with the family, you know, someone notices every time.
