Preseason, obviously, opened a few days ago.

I hope everybody was able to join us for our first post game of the year,

even though it's a game that didn't count.

We will, of course, have post games for the rest of the preseason games.

And when we get there, the start of the regular season and onwards and upwards from there.

Today, though, we have a very special segment, interview, conversation, whatever you want to call it,

with someone who I have been lucky enough to get to know a little bit over the last few years

because he's just a massive Knicks fan and we kind of chat

offline a lot. So it was great to be able to bring him on the pod for the first time in,

in several years. Alan Seppinwall, uh, an absolute institution in modern journalism. I mean,

it's not, how many people in the world that could say that they are the

preeminent person at anything. And Alan Sopinwall is the preeminent television critic, as far

as I'm concerned at least. I'm obviously a little bit biased, but that we have working

today. You know, he's been writing for Rolling Stone for forever, and he's obviously the author

of many books, including a new one that is coming out in a month and a half about the OC.

It's an oral history of the OC, which we say it during the pub, but I'll say it now.
