We're at Wednesday, July 21st, which means the draft is one week and one day away.

And to me, that means we're a week and a day away from all hell breaking loose.

I have a funny feeling that it's going to be an active couple of weeks.

Just throwing it out there.

I think the I think the further we move along with the old National Basketball Association,

the more of these draft slash free agency periods are going to be times where, you know, the

landscape of the league kind of shifts a little bit. I just, I don't know, seems like it's been

heading that way for a while and I think it's going to keep heading that way. But as for what

that means for the Knicks, well, I guess we'll see. There was a report out from Kevin O'Connor today, or yesterday I should say, from

the ringer saying that the Knicks have been among the most aggressive suitors, inquiring

with the Portland Trailblazers about the availability of one, Damian Lillard.

You know, take that to mean, whatever you want to take it to mean.

I suspect it means they have been, you know, just kicking the tires, seeing if he is indeed

out there. As far as whether or not the Knicks have been offering up everything that they

have to offer in terms of picks and young players, I, well, let's just say I would be a little bit more dubious of that.

Aggressive can mean a lot of things.

And I'll just leave it at that.
