So Jacob Rood covers the Lakers for Silver Screen and Roll, which is the great SP Nation blog about the Lakers. I felt it was important to

discuss an actual piece of news because I don't think we've talked about it on the show,

but news did drop a couple days ago that the Lakers had tried to perhaps get in on trade discussions

between the Jazz and the Knicks as a third

team, perhaps finding a way to dump Russell Westbrook onto Utah, and perhaps getting

some players from the Knicks. So we talked about every different kind of machination.
