KEZ'S CHRISTMAS ADVENT CALENDAR!

We gathered 12 writers from the H&C community and let them dip their hands into our Secret Santa bucket. From the bucket each writer pulled out a word, and from that word, they were asked to write and narrate a very, very short story.

Today’s word was… Present.

Karl Hughes does all things audio. He has been responsible for what you hear in the hugely successful "The Other Stories" podcast since the early days, making sure every monster sounds scary but doesn't blow your ears off. When he isn't hunting down gun shot and stabbing SFX for podcasts he also composes podcast theme tunes – you can hear two of these on the "This Is Horror" and the "Great Writers Share" podcast. He is also known for giving audio and podcast advice to new podcasters, helping them get setup quickly and answering the great question "What is a compressor?" Karl Hughes also produces music under the name Piregg and has released several EPs.
