Hello. And your quirky neighbor, Matt, that's me. We're two friends and two ministers who love the stories of the Bible, and we want to tell you about them.

And today's story is a real mystery to me, Todd, because I'm not sure what we're talking about.

If you actually want to follow along specifically, we are in Matthew 16 today.

And this is a story about Jesus talking with his disciples, namely Peter. Nam namely Peter. And so let's just jump right

into it. Does that sound good, Matt? I love it. I know you do. You want some more of it.

So Matt, yeah, we are going to talk about Peter as he confesses Jesus as the Christ.

Now, a little context behind this, they are hanging out in this district or the city called

Cessaria Philippi.

Matt, this is a kind of a blowing and going type city, very up and coming, very big.

And this is also an area.

You know, it's hard to make like very clear parallels.

But in some ways, it would be kind of like a Vegas.

A lot of sinful things happening there.

A lot of just worldly things that would draw people in that are not necessarily

good for people, if that makes any sense. So a lot of hustle and bustle, a lot of other things

happening. But this is where we find Jesus and his disciples. Matt, give us just a quick

rundown. You don't have to like name all the disciples and everything, but like who like when

we just hear the term in general, Jesus and his disciples, who are, who are his disciples?

Like, what does that mean? So a disciple is a learner who has committed themselves to someone's
