The title of today's post is,

Keyes to Praying for the Lost.

After yesterday's post on praying for prodigals,

I felt I should follow it with this teaching. I've given you the references, 2 Corinthians

4, 3 and 4, and 2nd Corinthians 10, 3 through 6 at the beginning. Because this post is a little

longer than usual, not much, I'm not going to read those, but you probably should.

2 Corinthians 104 tells us, we have been given spiritual weapons empowered by God,

with which to demolish strongholds in people. The root word is echo, which means the root Greek word is echo, which means

to hold. The form of the word used here, Akharoma, means to hold strongly, thus a stronghold.

It is also the word for a castle, fortress, prison.

A foxhole or trench is hastily dug in a time of war to hold a position, echo.

From this impregnable fortress, someone had ruled the entire territory.

That is a stronghold. Okeroma, the difference.

According to the word used in 2.Cruthians 104, this word we just talked about,

unbelievers are prisoners, captives.

This verse also tells us we have God-empowered weapons that can demolish these prisons.

Verse 5 of 2 Corinthians 10 breaks down the stronghold into three distinct components,

informing us of exactly what we must destroy with our spiritual weapons.
