We're going to be diving into a topic that I'm excited about. It's building a Christ centered small group.

So whether you're a mom looking to mentor a group of younger girls or you lead a women's

Bible study or you're a young woman who just wants to gather other like-minded young women

together or even if you're simply participating in a Bible study or small

group we're going to be looking at ways to really keep the focus centered

around Christ because I know for me I've participated in various groups that

claimed to be focused on Christ but really got off track pretty easily.

But I always think back to a really positive experience that I had with a small group in my late teen years.

It was a small group that was part of our local church ministry and I had recently given my life

to Christ in a very serious way and then started going to this

weekly Bible study gathering with my family and it was just a fellowship group

made up of various people from our local church body, but it quickly became one of the highlights of my spiritual walk.

Every week I seemed to come away just feeling uplifted, edified, and challenged spiritually. I'd been a part of other Bible study

groups in my younger years where Christians would sit around the living room and maybe politely

talk about observations

from whatever book they happen to be going through.

And just kind of in a detached way

without really a lot of passion.
