Welcome into the Wednesday edition of the Pack a Day podcast, the one more week until we are covering a regular season Packers football game.

I don't know about you, Dusty, but I am very excited. We do miss Steve this week. But next week when we're all back together, we will be previewing Packers versus Bears in week one.

How are you feeling,

Dusty? I'm feeling great, man. Like we were talking about before we started recording, I can't believe, I can't believe we're here. I mean, I'm still, I know it's a 17 game season,

which means the three preseason games instead of four. I still, listen, we just got out with three

preseason games. It's still just so weird that the next game we're going to see in a couple weeks is going to be the regular season.

So like always, the offseason is long until suddenly the season sneaks up on you.

So I'm, I'm hyped, dude.

We got this weird little bit of downtime.

And then next week, we're actually preview in a game, man.

It's, it's very, very exciting.

Yeah, it's definitely an exciting time. It's sort of the Christmas Eve growing up feeling when you're a kid and you know, you

know the next day is going to be the best day ever and all of your wishes are going to come

true.

That's sort of how it feels right now.

But unfortunately, in order for, you know, the regular season to be here, it does mean

that the difficult day of roster cuts has to happen. And it's never a fun day because, you know,

like we always talk about, these are real people. These are their jobs. They're playing for their

livelihood. So, you know, when they

don't make the final roster, it's nothing to celebrate. It's definitely tough for a lot of people.
