share what you got yeah this is a song called thank you for recording by okay lu she's a french

based electronic artist uh she bought an album earlier this year called chokinuff and it's one of my favorites

of 2025 so far tell me, tell me about this record.

Yeah, so, okay, Lou, she's been around the French European underground for a few years.

She's classically trained on piano and cello.

She had a big breakthrough in 2020 with her mixtape called Galore.

This record was described to me as ambient pop.

So I'm kind of in that ambient space often,

and I didn't know what ambient pop even really could mean.

But I also live with two self-described pop girlies.

So that's a genre that I've been resistant to in the past, to be honest,

and I've softened up a lot in recent years.

So I've been kind of trying to find my own way into it.

I hear a lot of Taylor Swift.

It's another day waking up alone.

But we were something, don't you think so?
