You brought a new song that you're going to share with us. What did you bring for us today? This is an artist, Irish artist, based in London named Elaine Howley, a seven-inch single.

It's called Hold Me in a New Way.

Tell me about this song.

This one is just, I think it might be my favorite song of 2025.

It's a very emotional but skeletal song.

It's just her voice, a drum machine, a simple bass line,

but it's very romantic in that way when you hear a song and it doesn't,

it seems like it's in the distance, and then it slowly kind of builds and builds within the song

and then you know you've listened to it five times in a row

it's one of those songs that you listen to it and it feels like you're in a movie

I love a cinematic song I have this is embarrassing admit

but I have a folder of songs that I list as movie songs

like yeah this would sound good in a movie.
