I was in business before I came to the bar the bar of England and Wales

Some refer to it as the senior half of the profession

You recognize barrett says is wearing wigs and gowns going into court representing cases and providing specialist advice is what we do

Mid well early covid really I started the YouTube channel black belt barrister to help people understand law kind of became my tagline

I'm the barrister that helps you understand law

It's not my first channel my first channel was in martial arts helping people understand martial arts

I suppose it was black belt secrets so the secrets of martial arts have been a black belt so I now tend to offer my opinions on black belt secrets as opposed to black belt barrister

I try to refrain from opinions too much on black belt barrister more law and understanding legal principles

But hopefully people will subscribe to both and hopefully you've got both the links but yeah, I hope that I achieve my goals

I get lots of emails telling me that people have won their cases on the on the back of little tips and guidance which is always nice to receive

So I really appreciate those so when people send me that there's a little email so many they've had a success from just how we do our job essentially and it works for them
