So when we free the world, Kevin Powell, what inspired you to write this book?

Why this book and why now?

Well, you know, I had my own racist experience with Minnesota, as I believe you know, in 2018.

My wife and I were sued for defamation by a white sister and a very overzealous white brother lawyer for an email that I've used, an email response to an email that was really horrific sent to my wife.

And I spent some time just trying to find out who the person was where it came

from because she was so my wife was so upset about it and you know I've sent plenty of responses

to people you're a journalist you know sometimes we respond to people on social media via
