So we're on home turf here for you in California, you represented the state ultimately in the House of Representatives.

It's your first time at Milken since you stepped down from Congress at the end of last year,

so you're mingling with luminaries from both sides of the Atlantic, which is why you're here on our trans-Atlantic

podcast. There's definitely a buzz on this circuit, but you must miss the

Washington frame, particularly in the way that you were forced to depart it.
