The Hawks had their first official practice back. Yesterday was an optional. Today was a full team practice. We've got some news and notes from there, including Sam Renzel and Kevin Korninski called up. And we've got Team USA going on right now against Sweden. We're keeping an eye on that. Lots of good stuff yeah it's it's a big day in the hockey world

got the rest of the quarterfinals going on got uh black hawks back to practice uh fully um

happy it's back yeah it was nice to have a little bit of a regular schedule uh i know we were still doing you know know, five shows a week. We had the AHL All-Star stuff that we did, but it's nice to kind of be back at Black Hawk's Ice Center and back at practice and back in the locker room, which was lively today. So it was good. It was good to be back. Well, we'll get into the after-pract practice festivities, which were a lot of fun because they probably just basically ended as overtime was starting.

But here were your forward group saying, again, grain assault on these big time because first of all, Tevo is not there.

Second of all, it is, they don't have a game for eight days.

And Jeff Flash will pretty much said today, like, don't read too much in anything you're seeing over the next few practices. Ah, let's read into it. I liked what I saw line-wise. So I'm going to talk about it. Badard, Green, and Burikovsky, Nazar, Morin, Bertuzi, Dickinson, Donato, Mikhailino, Doc, and Slaggart. and Sam Lafferty was your extra forward and your eighth defenseman. Yeah.

Yeah, that was an interesting little tidbit of information to get from Blaschell that Sam Lafferty played.

I'd have to go back and find that information that Sam Lafferty played defense at the world championships?

Yeah.

That would have been, yeah, that was news to me to hear that.

But the forwards group, I mean, with knowing that Baderd was going to take face-offs again,

I think you kind of could imagine that he and Nazar would be split up.

I think Nazar is effective playing down the middle.
