Kevin Harlan is the lead play-by-play caller for Westwood One's coverage of the Super Bowl.

The Chief Seagulls will be his 15th consecutive call for Westwood One radio. That's, I mean,

that's just an unbelievable number. And again, you, you, if you're a television broadcast,

that cannot happen, of course, because the Super Bowl shifts between all these different networks.

But Kevin Harlan has been the radio voice of the Super Bowl for now multiple generations, also the voice of Monday Night Football.

You also know him from his work on CBS when it comes to the NFL as well as college basketball.

And then, of course, Turner Sports or WBD Sports, where he calls the NBA.

We had a great conversation that hit on his preparation for the Super Bowl, how he thinks about it.

And then we get into, which is a little bit newsy, his talks with Amazon.

And things are heading to the point where Kevin Harlan will be calling games for our Amazon next year. There's no deal sign yet, but you'll hear

his answer and I would be stunned obviously if this is almost, I mean, it might not be a

theta complete, but it's pretty close to a theta complete. All right. So when our conversation with Kevin concludes, we then bring in Linda Scholes.

She is the vice president of production for ESPN's National Hockey League coverage.

She also has college hockey and tennis under her purview, makes her responsible for everything that they do when it comes to the

NHL. She's here in particular to talk about the four nations face off, which pits the USA, Finland,

Sweden, and Canada in a best on best tournament, which should be awesome if you're a hockey fan.

And Linda discusses ESPN's plans, how they're working with other broadcasters

around the world to put this on, the access that they're getting, where hockey sits within

ESPN's universe, and we get into a little bit of college hockey as well and how that's kind

of an underrated asset, I think, when it comes to, when it comes to viewership or potential

viewership, I should say. So Kevin Harlan starts and then we finish with Linda Schultz coming up on the sports media podcast.
