is this formula that you know there are formulas similar to this one out there for basically

narrowing the field of 68 down to a number of teams that actually can win the NCAA tournament.

I know we're down to 64 now, but taking all 68 into the equation, none of the first four, we're going to end up being on the final list anyway.

But there are four sets of criteria that I've used over the years to narrow the list from 68 down to a much smaller number.

The first thing that you have to be able to do is you have to be able to score, and then you have to be able to score efficiently.

Criteria number one is you've got to be a top 15% scoring team in the NCAA.

17 of the last 20 champions have been top 15% points per game scoring teams.

There are 365 Division 1 teams.

That means you've got to be in the top 55.

In this field, 32 of the 68 teams were top 55 or top 15% scoring teams.
