Welcome folks, welcome back to another episode.

I think this is now episode five actually Jack already of the Kentucky round ball roundup.

I am your co-host Zach attack.

We also have the other co-host Jack attack and I love that new tag line right there.

So today we're going to be discussing two of the season openers for the Kentucky women's

and men's basketball teams.

We have lots to talk about oddly enough, I mean not oddly enough I guess because we haven't

talked about it in eight months but there was plenty that went along.

So Jack you want to go ahead and kind of start us off with the men, we'll start with the

men's team here and kind of what are we going to talk about here for these opening minutes.

So you guys know that I tend to be one of the more optimistic individuals.

I tend to set high expectations.

I think that I have said on numerous occasions on this show that I think this is a very

very very good Kentucky basketball team.

I've said that I think that they are definitely in position to contend for a national

championship and I got to admit I had a little bit of some nerve set in just a little

bit before the game just because you go on these shows, I also do my source of say podcast

and every chance I've gotten to go on KSR this summer or whatever the case is, I've used

my platforms to always hype this team up because I like last year's team but I had some

questions about them.

They were in position to, they made a strong run there and they could have possibly made

a run in the championship but they didn't look the part of a national title team.
