I'm your host, Malcolm Reed, joined by my lovely, talented wife, Ms. Southern Shelfb and holding the fort down while i was gone

i feel like i haven't seen you no very long time it's been a week yeah well you were hunting

last week locally but still you were at deer camp last week you came in for a party took me to a party

the next morning i dropped you off at the airport picked you up last night

that's right been gone so you went to Texas to hunt I did I went I went over Texas to the middle

of nowhere Texas I'm talking remote what part of Texas technically we flew to San Antonio

okay and then I'm very thankful they picked What part of Texas? We flew to San Antonio. Okay.

And then I'm very thankful they picked us up at the airport because my plan was to rent a car and meet everybody there.

I never would have got there.

We drove like two hours out into the wilderness.

And it was like, I was like, I wouldn't have found this place.

I mean, it's like eight miles to the closest dirt road.

And then to the closest blacktop from once you get to the dirt road, I'm talking

you got to cross creeks, go through gates.

And I was like, I could just rent a car there.

I'd rent it like a mid-size SUV, you know?

I don't know.

Needed like a rock crawler, Jeep or something to get back there where we were.

There was no phone service.
