Summary

17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was back in court last week for a probable cause hearing and like every aspect of this story it was divisive. Probable cause hearings are usually routine proceedings, but Kyle Rittenhouse’s lawyer took it as an opportunity to set up his defense strategy, which the prosecution and the judge would not allow. Court TV Legal Correspondent Julia Jenae watched the hearing and will join us with a full report. The hearing was also an opportunity to see the potential angle the prosecution might take – accusing Rittenhouse of “hunting humans” that night in August. It’s a bold strategy but one attorney and friend of the podcast Ecelynne Mercy agrees with and she’ll tell us why. Get the latest updates on CourtTV.com and catch Vinnie and the entire team live weeknights 8-11pm on Court TV Live.
