And today, woo!

It's that time of year I get to save your holiday cocktail.

And I have a very special one that I have drummed up. It is beautiful to look at. It is even more

delicious to drink. And I call it the Rosecrans 75. Because Rosecrans is a street and a neighborhood

in Southern California. uh i like the name

because this cocktail utilizes rosemary fresh cranberries and cranberry juice cocktail three things

that you will grow to love here in short order so here's how i start because you have to prepare

a little bit for this drink.

Not in like the Peter Souterman crazy cocktail expert way, because I'm not a crazy cocktail expert.

I just know what I like, and I try and have it on hand.

I love those big ice globes.

They are so satisfying because if you drink them with a sipper like scotch or bourbon, they very slowly melt. They don't make your drink as watery. They keep it nice and cold. And they are, again, very aesthetically pleasing. So I got a couple of those. And the brand I like is called Zoku, Z-O-K-U. and I got them at Crate and Barrel because they were on sale,

and that was lovely. And so what I did, they're these silicone two-part globes that snapped

together. And in the lower part, before you put the water in, I put in fresh cranberries and

rosemary sprigs, just teeny tiny little half-inch rosemary sprigs, filled it up with hot water because

that's how you get ice cubes to be clear. And then I put those in the freezer, and I only have two

of the globes. So I had to be smart because I had a small gathering, and I had to make eight of these

cocktails. So I had to keep pulling the ice globes out after eight hours and make a big Ziploc baggie and add the globes to them.

But I have to tell you, like this is the perfect Christmas globe because it does.

It looks like a snow globe with red and green beauties inside that are fresh and amazing.

So you do that, you start making your ice cloves.
