And this is something that not only really interests me as an analyst when I look at things and kind of pick them apart in the news, it's also very important to me emotionally as a parent, and that is the state of education

And I know I've talked about it on the podcast, but I was watching the Virginia governor

raised with a particular interest, maybe different from other people who have a little

bit more of a partisan view of politics.

And as a libertarian and a registered independent, a non-affiliated voter,

I tend to not vote with parties and politicians. I tend to not invest too much of my energy

in people because I find that people when they are seeking power tend to disappoint you.

And that happens across the spectrum, but particularly in a two-party system

like ours that are so deeply dug into these factions, this political trench warfare. And,

you know, we're all dying from this toxic mustard gas of being incapable of having conversations

I went to the Sudbury School in Massachusetts, and it's sort of an unschooling environment.

And although I don't think I would send my own children to school
