And today, obviously, I have to save you from Black Friday.

I don't remember the last time I actually engaged in Black Friday shopping.

I've never gone shopping on Thanksgiving night because I'm too full and happy with food

to be bothered to get in a car and cavort with a bunch of people and they're pushing

and their sharp elbows and their bad hygiene and everyone smells like gravy but not in the good way

there are times that you can dip a sailor in gravy and be just fine believe me i've read about

these things.

So I don't understand the obsession with getting a cheap TV on Black Friday. No one gets the

door buster deals. There are shootings. There are lootings. It just seems exhausting. And it's so

archaic when you could sit on your keister on the couch,

in your jammies and shop for deals online, which is what 55% of consumers plan to do this year.

They are going to forego in-person experiences and we have to decide what kind of a country we're going to be.

And I'm not one to lecture anyone about capitalism. If buying cheap crap makes you happy,

if it makes you truly happy, then go buy cheap crap. If you are one of the few people that earned a bonus this year and out-earned

the rate of inflation and you want to celebrate by buying other people gifts and buying yourself

something at the same time, have at it. I really don't care. I just don't understand the weird

obsession of being led like lemmings to enclosed places where you know people

are not going to be on their best behavior competing for things that you can find from the

comfort of your own home and you don't have to wrestle with anything someone will bring it to you

so just do that and i love cyber Cyber Monday. I love Cyber Monday,

because you can get, you can get all your business done on Cyber Monday, obviously, without having to.
