Hello and welcome to this episode of Kennedy saves the world. Today is the birth of our great nation, 247 years young, and let me tell

you, if we're going to fight for the Republic, we're going to have to fight a war on two fronts.

That means tomorrow you're going to be battling not only a hangover, but a food hangover.

So before you get to battle, you have to plan. You have to have the right

material. And that means you got to start thinking about things now. That means before you start

your day on this July 4th, you got to do a little bit of exercise. You got to do some hydrating.

So we may be well into the 4th of July season by the time you hear this.

That means you've already had the ribs, you've already had the fried chicken, and you already

had Auntie Ellen's beautiful Fourth of July cake, which we know is just a sheet cake with

some cool whip, some cleverly sprinkled blueberries and raspberries for the flag effect,

which I certainly enjoy. I also

enjoy a red, white, and blue cocktail. And today, our cocktail is going to be a shot, and it's going to,

the base layer is going to be grenadine, then white rum, with a little floater of blue cura sow on top.

Not only do they look lovely, they taste delicious and they're so patriotic,

but there's really nothing patriotic about feeling like garbage the next day when you've got

a hangover and a food hangover. So when you have a food hangover, the old axioms for hangover

remedy, they do not apply. So yes, I will be enjoying my nephew's succulent pulled pork tacos and the the

slaw salad with the peanut dressing. I'll be doing all of it. We're going to have the

grilled romaine salad that we enjoyed in Lexington, Kentucky on the Laf's and Liberty Tour.

I'm taking that to my family. Of course, that's sprinkled with

bacon and ranch dressing and tomatoes. It is quite a fiesta that we're having on the SS

Canadaalia, but I know I'm going to pay dearly for it tomorrow. So what do you do when you wake up
