Hello and welcome to this episode of Kennedy Saves the World.

The weather, at least here in New York, it is finally getting warmer.

It's been a little moody, got warm, then got freezing cold.

Now it's getting back up into the, got warm, then got freezing cold.

Now it's getting back up into the high 60s, low 70s.

So that means we are getting into karaoke season.

This is definitely karaoke weather.

Our associate producer, Dina Perino, sent a topic this morning that we absolutely jumped on because I love karaoke. In the past, I've done a segment called Kenedoki at the Young Americans for Liberty Summit, which has been in Orlando

the last few years. We have done karaoke at the end of the conference. And it is always very well

attended with an enthusiastic group

of liberty lovers. People love karaoke, but there are some songs you should avoid and there

are those which are absolute crowd pleasers. That's what I'm trying to focus my list on today. Now, in the past, I have gravitated toward some

that are great sing-alongs, which is what you should be aiming for at karaoke. A few years ago

with my friend Hannah Cox, we did Taylor Swift's The Man. Turns out not a great song to do when it's

mostly men in the room. They don't want to sing along to that. But Mr. Brightside, always a massive hit.

I saw this first at Young Americans for Liberty. I've actually interviewed Brandon Flowers.

And then last year at Mom's Weekend, Mr. Brightside is the closing song in one of the favorite

bars on campus, of course, only for students 21 or over, or at least if their ID says that.

So Mr. Brightside's a really good one.
