Welcome to the Peter King Podcast, a very busy newsweek. I think you're going to like my guest this week. My first

conversation is with the player who caught America's imagination on Sunday,

playing quarterback for the Denver Broncos,

when 24 hours before the game,

he had absolutely no idea that he would even be in- the back of the Denver Broncos, probably for the last time in his life, but he certainly was for

one memorable day in a 31-3 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

And then we'll also talk to Rahim Morris, who has the Atlanta

Falcons on quite a hot streak since they started Owen five. They've only lost two games since.

And Rahim Morris is getting a lot of credit

for calming the waters in Atlanta,

getting them to focus on football,

getting them to play some ferocious defense, which was really evident in their

massacre of the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. So we'll have Hinton and we will have Morris in just a moment. But first, you know, a lot of people in the last few days have said to me, so it's absurd that these games are being played.

Isn't it ridiculous that the Denver Broncos played when all four

quarterbacks they have under contract in the organization were either COVID positive in the case of one quarterback Jeff Driscoll and then the other three were close contacts with Driscoll. And so isn't it ridiculous they should play?

Isn't it ridiculous that the Baltimore Ravens should play? I mean as I record this

podcast now,

the Ravens are in the air on the way to Pittsburgh to play

obviously Eastern Time 340 PM on Wednesday.

And isn't an absurd they are playing with approximately 23 player positives in the last nine days?

And yes, it is absurd absurd it's absurd that Denver should play and it's absurd

that Baltimore should play however just because it's absurd it doesn't mean it is a dumb idea.
