Did you see the Senate Republicans?

They're back to work.

Oh, great.

Yeah, returning to D.C.

And they're talking about the big, beautiful bill.

Think about the amount of time these people are not working.

It's a staggering amount of you added up throughout the course of the year that these people are not working, that they're not in

Washington, D.C., doing their actual jobs, which may actually be best for us, though, because they

can't do any damage if they're not actually there. If they're not there. But aren't they the ones

that raised their hand and said, pick me? Well, I can do the job. This is, and, you know, you really do see this play out in terms of, and we obviously we opened our show talking about these special rules, these special exemptions that lawmakers locally have where they can't be arrested during the legislative session.

You see this play out in Washington, D.C. with special rules like with the insider trading, that they do things, that if you or I did it, we'd go directly to federal prison.

And yet they write the laws so that they are exempted.

There's a reason people fight so hard to get these positions and then do nothing.

I mean, you think about how hard campaigns are actually run.

You would, a logical person would say,

as hard as these campaigns are running,

the amount of money that is spent,

you would assume the majority of people

would be going to Washington, D.C.,

ready to have a frickin revolution

the way they fight to get these positions.

And then they go there and they don't
